Lucent Web Design is a small web design studio located in the Scottish Borders, about half an hour from Edinburgh, and near Galashiels and Melrose.
Lucent is run by Justin Reynolds, a designer with years of experience of designing websites and developing content management solutions for clients in and around Edinburgh, Scotland, and beyond, including the Scottish Episcopal Church, the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, the Romantic Novelists Association and the World Development Movement.
Lucent pays meticulous attention to each step of the website development process, from the establishment of project objectives and development of a site structure, through to the integration of completed designs with a content management system.
Each page of every website is handcrafted using web standards based XHTML, CSS and JavaScript code that observes coding and accessibility guidelines established by the World Wide Web Consortium. Lucent develops content management solutions tailored to each client's specific requirements using cutting edge, affordable web publishing systems, including ExpressionEngine and WordPress.
Most projects are quoted within the region of £1,000 to £5,000.
